6 Beauty Hacks Competing Agencies
Don’t Want You to Know About

From junior teams right up to the ECD, no pay grade is exempt from the havoc that pitch season can wreak on your usual office glow.

But just because you’re not sleeping, eating right or seeing natural sunlight, doesn’t mean your beauty routine should fall by the wayside.

  1. Nothing dries out the delicate skin beneath your eyes like the war room’s air conditioning. Try holding two bottles of San Pellegrino fresh from the bar fridge over them for 30 seconds - goodbye bags, hello creative review!

  2. That pitch-winning idea could strike at any time, so trade that gym session for a couple of explosive rounds of squats by your desk. For a real fat-burner, try holding a few award trophies.

  3. Trick your brain into releasing skin-clearing endorphins by setting your laptop’s wallpaper to a sun-drenched tropical beach. We recommend Tulum in Quintana Roo, Mexico!

  4. It’s only natural to lose hair during a pitch. If you’ve got dark hair, an Artline 210 medium 0.6 will do in a pinch. If you’ve got light hair, try not pulling it out in the first place - it’s only a job.

  5. The boards you pin your executions to can also double as rudimentary sun reflectors that will have you positively glowing by pitch day! (Now, should that idea really be up there?)

  6. Remember, nothing looks as good as winning feels!

Gags aside, self-care during a pitch is just as important as the ideas you produce – a mind in knots is no good to anyone.

So look after yourself, eat well, rest and most importantly, smash that pitch.
